30 Years of Tim Hortons Camp Day

Camp Day History

For a 24 hour period in May 1987, 58 stores in the Atlantic Provinces donated their entire day’s sales to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation in support of the Tim Horton Children's Camp in Tatamagouche NS raising over $131,000.

In 1991, Camp Day expanded across the Tim Hortons chain and the official campaign name was established.

This becomes an annual event at Tim Hortons stores from coast to coast in Canada. Over $500,000 was raised in the inaugural year. Camp Day has grown to be the largest single-day fundraiser of it’s kind in Canada thanks to the generous support of Tim Hortons guests.
